Through these established regional brands, we have a strong presence and reputation for creating outstanding homes in desirable locations and have significantly expanded our reach and market position throughout Scotland. This includes our flagship village developments which are carefully designed to be integrated, sustainable communities complete with the infrastructure, amenities and community facilities a community needs in order to thrive and grow.
We work closely with local authorities, liaising with them throughout the planning and construction phases of our developments. We take a long-term view to our developments, and we have an experienced team that navigates the planning process, as well as highly skilled in-house architects, engineers and lawyers.
The Group also delivers much-needed affordable housing with local authorities, housing associations other public organisations. This is a vital part of our Group strategy, and we take pride in delivering homes that meet a wide range of needs, contributing to the creation of sustainable communities that serve people, towns and cities.
Evidence of our commitment to providing mixed-tenure housing, the Group has established an agreement with Sigma PRS Management Ltd to acquire and develop sites in Scotland with housing for the private rented sector. A number of sites have potential for PRS and this collaboration will allow us to maximise the potential of our locations and housing solution for those who enjoy the flexibility of renting with the security of a national rental company.
We have committed to sustainable practice across our Group and prioritise it at the design stage of our developments. We continually explore new technologies to ensure we are ahead of the curve on innovations that could benefit our customers and processes. Our homes are built with highly insulated timber frame designs, made off-site at our dedicated kit factories. We are proud to have been the first housebuilder in the UK to provide the infrastructure for electric vehicle charging as standard with our new build private homes, as well as being one of the few developers to strategically use air source heat pumps across our developments.
