Drymen

This public consultation is for a section of land north of Gartness Road, Drymen, following a Proposal of Application Notice (PAN) submitted to Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park Authority on 13/5/24.

Mactaggart & Mickel, part of the Springfield Group, currently have planning permission for 85 homes in this section of land that has been allocated for residential development within the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park Local Development Plan. We are looking to reduce this and are working on proposals for high quality, energy efficient homes – including affordable.

The designs include a range of private and much need affordable homes as well as ample open green space and a play area. As part of these proposals, Mactaggart & Mickel would deliver increased car parking for the community, new pedestrian crossings and linkages, and new toilet facilities.

Community engagement

We held a number of in-person and online events to answer questions members of the community may have on our proposals.

Please note that comments submitted as part of this pre-application consultation are not representations to the Local Planning Authority. There will be an opportunity to make formal representations to Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park when the planning application is made.
