Leading housebuilder, Springfield Properties hosted its annual community Christmas event for its Dykes of Gray and Bertha Park residents this week, with a festive line-up for all to enjoy, including a local food and drink stall, topped off with a special visit from Santa Claus himself.
The Dykes of Gray village in Dundee, which recently won a prestigious public realm award, is designed with community in mind and this year’s winter event underlined the importance of bringing local people together. Residents will be able to meet Santa for a photo in the four-bedroom detached Letham show home which will be transformed into Santa’s grotto.
Dykes of Gray includes a range of 3- and 4-bedroom homes with prices starting at £259,000, local amenities, such as the popular Spar within the development, play parks, an amphitheatre, public art and a community woodland.
Bertha Park, which recently won a prestigious award recognising its gold standard sustainability credentials and was also named Best Development 2022, is designed with community in mind. This year’s Christmas event was the perfect opportunity to bring local people together.
The Perthshire village has become the gold standard for how residential placemaking should be approached in Scotland and has been designed to have everything a community needs to thrive, from cafes to shops and vast greenspace. It also features the first purpose built high school in Scotland for 20 years and is one of 17 Microsoft flagship schools in the world.
The range of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes available, with prices starting at £178,000, boast high EPC ratings of B and a high level of specification as standard just on the outskirts of Perth.
